I practice Hellenistic and Medieval Islamicate Astrology which are branches of Afro-Asiatic or Traditional Astrology. Afro-Asiatic Astrology traces its origins more than 3,000 years back to the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Persia, and India where celestial observations were (and still are) commonplace and more openly connected with divinatory practices. Medieval Islamicate Astrology is a continuation of this ancient practice into the medieval and contemporary period. My Astrology practice is a Decolonial practice, therefore I do not utilize modern or western astrology. This means that I use the Traditional seven visible planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter & Saturn) Arabic Parts/Lots, Decans, Dodecatemoria, Egyptian Bounds, Lunar Manzil, Lunar Nodes, Ninth Part, Traditional Timing Techniques and several other things like those. Afro-Asiatic Astrology can answer both concrete event based questions like “Will I get this opportunity this year?” and personal disposition based questions such as “Which activities am I more inclined to enjoy?” In addition to natal (birth) chart oriented inquiries, Afro-Asiatic Astrology involves other areas of use such as Interrogations (yes/no answers), Elections (auspicious timing) and World Astrology or what people call Mundane Astrology which deals with global events.

Numerology also traces its origins to the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and perhaps the broader area of West Asia while Ancient China also has its own system. Numerology is a divination system that uses numerical calculations to give individuals insight into various facets of their lives such as their spiritual journey, general disposition, talents, profession, and compatibility with others. In several spiritual systems it is believed that numbers are akin to unique puzzle pieces or codes that grant access to the secrets of divinity.

Cartomancy naturally builds off of Astrology and Numerology as it combines the themes and symbolism found in the ancient understanding of the planets, signs, and numbers into a system that allows a querent to ascertain the truth of a simple or complex matter. I use traditional playing cards.

Conjure and Root Working or Hoodoo is a system of spiritual practices indigenous to African American people who are the descendants of enslaved Africans in Turtle Island or what is known as the U.S. It is a combination of multiple ATRs (African Traditional Religions), Native American, and European influences, reflecting the cultural mixture of the people. In my practice I emphasize the African influences and use the other two when/if I feel called to do so. If there is something you feel thankful for and you want to commune with life and/or the ancestors about it or if there is something that you need any level of assistance with, Conjure and Root Working is the way to secure a solution. I use the divinatory practices of Astrology, Numerology, and Cartomancy to help align my workings with celestial timing. Everything in existence is connected therefore I maximize my outcomes by working within the flow of life. As indicated on my homepage, it is through my Black Alabamian lineage (*several* generations) that I accomplish all that I do, and with much reverence for my ancestors i’m able to do things pretty well.

A.I. Policy: I do not use A.I. for any of my readings, nor do I knowingly (because you know how that goes these days) use it for the content of my website. A.I. cannot and should not be used for divination. Spiritual Systems require spirits, Divination requires the divine. A.I. is neither. People can opt into whatever they please but for my current and potential clients I do not recommend A.I. for spirituality based matters (or most matters tbh) because this is an arena that is *uniquely* and *inherently* human. Also, it’s just not accurate, even for the pop/modern/western/new age spiritual stuff it’s very wrong but it’s even more incorrect for Traditional Astrology.
